Quality Assurance Specialist
We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Specialist to join a major infrastructure project in Fredericia, Denmark. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-impact project where quality, precision, and collaboration are key to success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Planning
Establish, develop, and maintain the project’s quality plan, inspection plans, and self-inspection programs.
Ensure all quality requirements from the client, authorities, and relevant standards (e.g., AMA, ISO 9001) are implemented effectively.
Participate in risk assessments and contribute with quality-related insights.
2. Inspection and Verification
Perform inspections, checks, and measurements in accordance with inspection plans.
Verify that materials and installations meet all specified requirements.
Ensure contractors and subcontractors carry out proper self-inspections.
Participate in inspections and prepare required documentation.
3. Documentation and Reporting
Manage the quality management system and all related documentation (inspection reports, NCRs, certificates, material declarations, etc.).
Ensure full traceability and completeness of documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide regular quality status reports to project management and the client.
4. Nonconformance Management & Continuous Improvement
Identify, document, and follow up on nonconformities, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
Drive corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with project teams.
Support root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
5. Communication and Collaboration
Support site management, supervisors, and field teams in all quality-related matters.
Participate in construction, technical, and coordination meetings.
Ensure clear communication of quality requirements across the project.
6. Auditing and Follow-up
Plan and conduct internal quality audits.
Participate in external audits from clients and certification bodies.
Monitor and follow up on contractor and supplier quality performance.
Qualifications
Proven experience in QA/QC roles within infrastructure, construction, or industrial projects
Strong knowledge of quality standards and systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
Experience with inspection processes, documentation, and audits
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluency in English is required; Danish and/or Swedish are considered strong advantages
Additional Information
This is a full-time, on-site role – 100% site presence in Fredericia is expected
